Affirmations For Success
Affirmations do work providing they are done correctly.
Some things to keep in mind:
* It takes three weeks, without missing one day, to effectively establish a habit. (if you do miss a day, start over)
* An Affirmation has to be presented in the present tense.
* The more passionate you feel about the meaning of that affirmation the more quickly it will work.
* Affirmations are most effective when we are in a state of Alpha Mind or Theta Mind. That is when we are in a drowsy state where our normal Beta wave activity has quietened down. Just prior to nodding off to sleep is great.
* Visualize as you say your affirmation. See those pictures in your mind.
* Say it out loud at least some of the time. This reinforces because you're using more than one sense.
* Do these affirmations on at least three occassions throughout the day. I suggest, early morning on awakening before getting out of bed, around midday, and just as you’re dozing off last thing at night.
* If a negating thought pops up which attempts to nullify your affirmation just say “Next,” and either move onto another thought or repeat the affirmation. Never negate it with comments like, "this isn't working." Or "This is all bull." Just do it and forget it.
* Your subconscious mind will start presenting opportunities. Say “Yes,” to them. In other words, take action.
* Coincidences will likely start to begin in your life, that are leading you towards the outcome of your affirmation, though that outcome might not seem apparent. Infinite Intelligence works in ways which are so often mysterious to us.
